Which area do you cover?
Our clients are based throughout the London Borough of Bromley, so from Penge in the north of the borough to Orpington and Chelsfield in the south.
What are your hours of operation?
We operate 24 hours a day, seven days a week, 365 days a year. However, our main shifts begin at 7am and continue all the way through to around 9pm in the evening. We also provide care throughout the night and this is either in the form of what we call a 'sleep-in' service, where the careworker will be on hand to provide support and assistance should the client wake-up, or a full service where the careworker is expected to provide constant care and support.
What can I expect to pay for a 'typical' care package
Firstly, there's no such thing as a typical care package because each one is specifically tailored to meet the needs of the individual service user. However, as a guide, a package requiring one 30 minute visit per day Monday to Friday would cost around £45 per week whereas a more extensive package requiring three or four daily visits every day of the week including weekends would cost around £220
How much notice do you require to set up a service?
Ideally at least 48 hours but we know this isn't always possible. It is sometimes possible to commence a service on the same day you contact us.
Do you provide live-in careworkers?
No. However, some other Carewatch branches do offer this service and we would be happy to liaise with them on your behalf if required.
